Who we are

SilentRoom Journal is a free online publication for working writers — novelists, journalists, editors, copywriters, researchers: anyone whose work is made of words and who now shares a desk with a language model. We started in 2026 and publish three to four new pieces a week, collected into quarterly issues, plus a weekly newsletter.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief: Arsen Revazov · Wikipedia. The editorial team — writers, editors, and researchers — is small and distributed; every author on the Authors page is a practitioner writing about their own craft.

What we publish

Five sections. The Craft — writing itself: voice, style, editing, and what AI does to them. The Machine — how language models work and where they break. The Method — techniques for working with them, tested rather than repeated. The Desk — the writer's working environment: tools, sources, focus. The Stack — models, pricing, and the market. Long reads, guides, comparisons, columns, dispatches, and briefings; the Issues page has everything by quarter.

Written by people, edited by people. How we use AI in our own work, how we source and verify, and how we correct mistakes is set out on the Editorial page.

How it is paid for

There is no paywall and no advertising in the journal. It is supported by the book we publish — We've All Become Prompt Engineers by Arsen Revazov, sold at silentroom.ai. Both are published by SilentRoom Inc.
