Disclaimer
Last Updated · September 17, 2026
This page explains the limits of what we publish. It supplements our Terms of Service; if the two conflict, the Terms govern.
1. Editorial content, not professional advice
SilentRoom Journal publishes articles, essays, guides, comparisons, and reviews about writing and artificial intelligence. They are editorial content: information and opinion, offered for general interest and education.
Nothing on the journal is legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Where a piece touches on such a field — a contract, a diagnosis, an investment — it illustrates how a writer or a language model handles the material; for decisions in those fields, consult a qualified professional who knows your situation.
2. Opinions and dates
Reviews, comparisons, and rankings of AI models and tools reflect the judgment of the named author on the date of publication. AI products change often, so a statement that was accurate when written may not describe the current version of a product. Each piece carries its publication date, and we date claims inside the text where it matters. We may correct or update pieces; substantive corrections are noted on the piece itself.
3. No guarantee of results
Methods, prompts, and workflows described in the journal worked for the author in the circumstances described. Language models behave differently between versions, accounts, settings, and even between two runs of the same prompt. We do not promise any particular result from applying what we publish, and you remain responsible for checking anything a model produces before you rely on it or pass it on.
4. Literary experiments
Occasionally we publish a piece written in the voice of a historical figure as a literary experiment. Such pieces are marked as such on the page and the persona is listed separately from staff authors. They are works of imagination, not historical documents or the views of the person named.
5. Third-party products, trademarks, and links
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, and other product names mentioned in the journal are trademarks of their respective owners. SilentRoom Inc. is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, xAI, or any other company whose products we discuss. We link to third-party websites as sources and references; we do not control them, and a link is not an endorsement of their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
6. Advertising and affiliations
The journal is free to read and has no paywall. It is supported by the book published by SilentRoom Inc. and sold at silentroom.ai. We do not run affiliate links or sponsored content; if that ever changes, the piece in question will say so.
7. Liability
Our liability for the journal and its content is limited as described in the Terms of Service. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under mandatory law in your country of residence.
